Account Settings

Manage your FairArena account settings and preferences

Your Account Control Center

Account Settings is where you manage everything about your FairArena experience. From personal information to security settings, you have full control over your account.

Accessing Account Settings

Find your settings easily:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Select Account Settings from the dropdown
  3. Or navigate directly from the dashboard

Personal Information

Basic Details

Update Your Information:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address (requires verification)
  • Username
  • Profile picture
  • Contact information

How to Update:

  1. Go to Account SettingsPersonal Information
  2. Click Edit next to any field
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save Changes

Email changes require verification. Check your new email for a confirmation link.

Profile Settings

Quick access to profile management:

  • Edit your full profile
  • Update privacy settings
  • Manage profile visibility
  • Configure view tracking
  • Update social links

Security Settings

Password Management

Change Your Password:

Go to Account SettingsSecurity

Change Password

Click Change Password

Enter Current Password

Verify your identity

Create New Password

Enter strong, unique password

Confirm New Password

Re-enter to confirm

Save Changes

Your password is updated

Password Tips:

  • Use at least 12 characters
  • Mix uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include numbers and symbols
  • Don't reuse passwords
  • Consider using a password manager

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add extra security:

Enable 2FA:

  1. Go to Security Settings
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Choose your method (app/SMS)
  4. Follow setup instructions
  5. Save backup codes
  6. 2FA is now active

Manage 2FA:

  • View backup codes
  • Regenerate codes
  • Change 2FA method
  • Disable 2FA (requires verification)

Login Sessions

Manage where you're logged in:

View Active Sessions:

  • See all devices logged into your account
  • Check login locations
  • View last activity time
  • Identify device types

Manage Sessions:

  • Log out of specific devices
  • End all other sessions
  • Force logout everywhere
  • Review for suspicious activity

Login History

Track your account access:

  • View all login attempts
  • See successful logins
  • Check failed login attempts
  • Review timestamps and locations
  • Identify unauthorized access attempts

Notification Settings

Email Notifications

Control what emails you receive:

Notification Types:

  • Account Activity: Login alerts, password changes
  • Teams & Projects: Invitations, updates, mentions
  • Organizations: New members, announcements
  • Credits & Billing: Purchase confirmations, low balance
  • Platform Updates: New features, maintenance
  • Marketing: Newsletter, promotions (opt-in)

Configure Notifications:

  1. Go to Notifications settings
  2. Toggle each notification type on/off
  3. Set frequency (instant, daily digest, weekly)
  4. Save preferences

Data Management

Export Your Data:

  1. Go to Privacy Settings
  2. Click Export Data
  3. Confirm request
  4. Receive download link via email
  5. Download within 7 days

Account Deletion

Delete Your Account:

Account deletion is permanent. Make sure to export your data first!

Access Deletion

Go to Privacy SettingsDelete Account

Review Warning

Understand what will be deleted

Confirm Identity

Enter password or use 2FA

Provide Reason

Optional feedback on why you're leaving

Confirm Deletion

Acknowledge permanent removal

Grace Period

30 days to change your mind

Permanent Deletion

Account fully removed after grace period
